Mr. Juul studied at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and Columbia College in Chicago, majoring in fine arts and film with additional specialized training in writing, design and video production.
As an instructor, he teaches commercial and digital design as well as design for gaming at a unique career- preparation high school. He’s earned several awards for educational practices which earned him the Outstanding Career and Technical Adult Education Instructor of the Year, the 2017 Teacher of the Year for Career Academies of Seminole as well as a Pinellas County Teacher of The Year Finalist. Mr. Juul was also named the City of Seminole Chamber of Commerce Teacher of the Year in 2012, and was also nominated for Teacher of the Year for the State of Florida in 2012 and 2018. During his twenty years in the classroom he's also mentored and trained numerous state and national student design contest winners.
His varied background in marketing, design, film and acting have helped create an open teaching environment for students looking for an involved and interesting arts elective or career choice.
In addition to teaching, Mr. Juul is a recognized multimedia artist whose own company released several videos, a CD-ROM and DVD's of his artwork. He is also a performer and instructor of improv comedy at American Stage Theater in St. Petersburg Florida and regularly performs around the country with his improv group, "As Per Usual."
